Emily & Daryl met Cécilia 20 years ago for their Honeymoon in Burgundy. They did not hesitate to contact us again to organise their holidays with their friends ! 

 

3 days on a private tour with our 9 seaters minivan, guided by Cécilia and Dominique our driver. 

Day 1 Pick up in CDG Paris, transferred to Dijon with a stop in the Champagne area for a visit and tasting.

Day 2 Starting in Dijon, going to Beaune and biking through the vineyards to Puligny Montrachet, sharing a home made lunch with wine growers. The afternoon was spent in the Côte de Nuit to discover how we can raise wine in a "jarre".

Day 3 Discovering a very small winery in the Cote Chalonnaise and then meet la Comtessa in the Beaujolais area who had cooked a delicious lunch especially for them.

The season is ending, time for our team to be welcome by our vendors and time to discover new places for the new season coming.

9th of November 

Château de Varennes (Beaujolais area) invited our team for a lunch in the château and a private visit. 

Thanks to the Charveriat family for this wonderfull moment spent with them ! 

6th of November 

After a great season, the Château des Ravatys in the Beaujolais area (owned by the Pasteur institute) lent us their beautifull library for our annual meeting with our team and invited all of us for a very pleasant lunch with their team.  

Other places we have been visiting the last few weeks in the beautifull Beaujolais area ! 

château de Julienas, château de Corcelles, château de Raousset, château de Javernand... 

Every Thursday between July 1st and August 31st 2017, Go Côté Saône offers the options of 3 different excursions (pre-booking is essential):

1) Privilege visit of the chateau of cormatin

10.00am rendez-vous in the castle car park with our local guide. Visit the castle with time to explore the gardens and the maze.

2) aperitif, tasting lunch and visit to a truffle farm

11.45 am rendez-vous in the castle car-park for departure to the farm where Olivier will welcome you for a truffle-flavoured aperitif, followed by a lunch comprising tasting of different locally produced organic products. Lunch is followed by a visit to the truffle growing area and a demonstration of truffle hunting by Olivier and his dogs.

3) Visit to a goat farm, with tasting of delicious goats’ cheeses.

At 3.00pm join us to meet a friendly herd of goats and to learn about the cheeses that are made there, followed by a tasting of cheeses at different stages of development.

 

After the visit your guide will direct you towards the centre of the village where you will find various artists and craftsmen delighted to open their studios to you and to share their knowledge.
